Every line in the movie belongs
Hi friends!
I don’t spend as much time in nature as I want to, but today, I am writing to you from a cabin in the woods.
I love being surrounded by the trees like a young soul learning from its elders. They weave their roots together and tell me a story. They remind me to go deeper into mine. Sitting with my emotions I receive a new clue. I find a little girl who feels responsible for the lives of those around her and believes she’s failed before getting to start.
If you relate to this sentiment, here are some words of comfort for the child within that feels defeated.
. . .
you may feel like
you’re doing it all wrong
like you took a bad turn
but can’t remember where
. . .
you may feel like
you lost a piece
of the puzzle
and therefore
you’ve lost yourself
. . .
consider this…
what if every “mistake.”
and “bad” decision
was leading you somewhere
and where you are today
is part of an ongoing process
. . .
what if it’s not too late
and you can step forward
from wherever you are
with a new clue in hand
. . .
you can’t skip the bad parts
you can’t skip the missing pieces
because every line in the movie
and every piece of the puzzle
belongs
. . .
I pulled a message and prompt from my deck, All of You is Magic, to help us process this emotion. This same card came up for me a few days ago, so I paid extra attention.
Love - light & shadows
